Perfecf size for my basement rec room. It™™s quiet enough that I don™™t have to turn it off to hear the TV. It™™s also nice looking. I hooked it up to a hose that drains into a sump pump so there is never a need to empty the water tank. Highly recommend it.

We needed a dehumidifier to be used in the living room and kitchen area common area (700 ~ 1000 sqft). After a little search, we ordered this one from Home Depot. So far it works pretty well. This unit also has wheels so it can be moved around with relatively less effort. We have also used it to dehumidify a bedroom and closet (we did not use it in a closed and tight closet as that was not recommended).

I purchased this dehumidifier on the basis of independent reviews and rating agencies. It is adequate for my purposes and so far seems to work as advertised. The fan is noisier than I had expected, but tolerable. I wish it were simpler to empty the bucket. It is too easy to spill water while emptying it, and as a result I have to carry it to the bathtub and pour it in there to avoid drips on the floor. A couple of hours after I installed the unit and turned it on for the first time, I noticed water pooling on the floor behind the unit. After some investigation, I found that water was seeping out from the seal of the drain cap on the back of the unit. I tightened it as much as I could with my fingers (I did not use a wrench for fear of breaking the plastic), but the leaking would not stop. I called the Frigidaire help line, but this took many tries as an automated message said they were too busy to take another call. I eventually got through and spoke with an agent who said she could not help me because I had purchased the unit from Amazon, and that I should return the unit to Amazon. I found this option unacceptable, and decided to attempt a repair by myself. I unscrewed the drain cap and wound teflon (plumbers) tape around the threads and replaced the drain cap. This seems to have resolved the issue, but I am disappointed that I had to figure out how to modify a brand-new unit with no advice or assistance from the manufacturer.

After unpacking the unit, it leaked from the protruding, plastic, threaded tube, whether I used the bucket or a hose. The leaking caused discoloration on the white, plastic surface on the back. Because I bought it from Amazon, there was only a 30 day warranty for return. I had to call Frigidaire, who would not replace/repair, and had to complete a form to send in along with the unit label, certified mail. I™™m waiting to hear back about next steps. Very disappointing. I also bought two 50 point dehumidifiers at the same time, and they work well.

We have a cabin that sits on a concrete slab and our two front bedrooms have always had considerable humidity issues. I began researching small room dehumidifiers when a more permanent solution could not be identified. I bought two of these units as they seemed to be the right size, right noise level, and had reasonably good reviews. Within a few days on continuous operation - I was amazed at the difference in humidity. After these few days, I switched the units to low fan and set a humidity of 45 - it has solved our considerable problem. I wish I could run it with a continual drain but don't have that option. There are some reviews that suggest issues arose with water leaking, code failures (not unlike every other small room dehumidifier on the market) - we have happily not experienced any negative issues and hopefully will not.

The summer was about to move in; the heat and humidity were about to return, pushed ever higher by the relentless climb of global warming. Plugging in the old dehumidifier led to an astounding revelation - it no longer worked at all! I quickly went to a store having Frigidaire dehumidifiers and bought this 22 pint model. We purchased our dehumidifier in 2017 as a gift for our in laws. The unit worked great but only lasted about a year and a half. Contacted Frigidaire and was sent an exact replacement unit. This unit lasted about two and a half years and again failed. I again contacted Frigidaire and was sent a newer model unit about two months ago. This unit seems to be working fine at this point, but too new to tell for sure.

The features is what attracted me to this humidifier after much research. The quietness and the turning off when not needed was the biggest selling point and it does not disappoint. Currently using in a spare bedroom with a mini-split that does not do a good job of removing humidity. This 22 pint is perfect. Quite, efficient, easy to use control panel and easy to use bucket. I personally would have like to have a larger bucket to reduce dumping of water.

I haven™™t used it a lot yet but have used it enough to know that it is just as quiet as my 50 pint capacity dehumidifier that I bought to replace a VERY noisy competitor model. Let™™s just say that life was not good. The competitor model was very noisy and the emptying handle broke. The Frigidaire emptying handle is very sturdy and both units are extremely quiet. Making the Full LEDs larger would warrant a 5 star rating.

I have allergies that get worse when the house is humid so this year I added a dehumidifier on the 2nd level where the bedrooms are. This unit has done a good job of keeping the humidity at an appropriate level and when it runs during the night, just outside my bedroom door, I only notice it when I listen very closely for it.I was also very please to see that once the humidity is lowered to a certain point it will turn off the fan and everything so that it just sits there quietly. I have a unit in the basement of a different manufacturer that only shuts off when the bucket is full. This unit is much better as the fan only runs as long as it is needed and shuts down soon after the compressor kicks out. Great Job on that.

Replaced 2 smaller dehumidifiers with this one. What a big difference in humidity level. We have a 31™™ A class and the first few days I had to dump water every day. Now I leave it centered in the MH on medium speed. The humidity dropped from 61% to 29%. Very satisfied with the unit. Only issue was the threaded plastic discharge nipple. Threads had to be filed and recut from the mfg™™s mold marks so I could seal it. Easier to fix than to return.

Worked great until whatever holds the tank in place broke after about only a dozen uses. There was some kind of latching mechanism that disengaged when you pulled on the sides of the tank to remove it and re-engaged when you put it back as seen in YouTube videos. (BTW, available manuals talk about pressing the sides of the tank "gently" to remove it but this tank is absolutely rigid with no apparent latches on the side.) Didn't notice anything untoward when I took it out this last time but now it doesn't latch in place and be recognized by the unit. Presumably something broke, but what and where?

Works very efficiently. I have it in my son's room he has asthma. Reservoir fills up every 12 - 18 hours. A must have in Florida to keep humidity low so that mold and mildew spores don't grow.

I put this humidifier in my 33 ft. long camper. Before the humidifier there was condensation on the inside of the windows and on all the metal parts around the door. This humidifier took care of that problem within a few days and has kept it at a comfortable humidity.

I am extremely disappointed with the dehumidifier that I purchased for our new apartment which has inadequate ventilation. The dehumidifier did not work correctly because it repetitively leaked water, although it was not close to full. We attempted to contact your company , it was extremely difficult to do so, and ultimately I was not offered a refund or a new unit because I could not identify where it was purchased! I would have thought you could have identified where it was purchased.
