Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Doesn't Dry Very Well

Cdaniel 6/29/2026

It doesn't dry very efficient, doesn't get all that warm, I have to dry each load 2x in order to get them dry. I don't think it will be something that moves with me when I move, probably will sell with the house. Just no American made quality any more for anything.

Dead in the water out of the box.

So far not so good 6/18/2026

This dryer was dead in the water upon delivery. The drum light turned on and that was it. Dealer sent service techs out to repair it the next day but I am not very confident in it's longevity. So much for taking the plunge on a high dollar unit. One of the main selling points for me was 10 year parts warranty and 5 years parts and labor, now I don't see anything about a 10 year warranty on the website. The build quality seemed better than all of the other Maytags I looked at and many of the reviews for the lower grade models weren't very good. I'm replacing my old Bravos which held up pretty well. The dryer anyway, the shaft seal kept going on the washer and wrecking the basket bearings and the main shaft. Had them replaced 3 or 4 times before finally giving up on it. I just got done registering it and on the registration site it's telling me the warranty is only 1 year and trying to sell me an extended warranty service. Maybe I should have bought a Speed Queen.

Dryer works good

CK2498 3/7/2026

Dryer works good. Dries clothes quickly with hardly any wrinkles. I only use it on medium heat, because high heat is not necessary. It catches a lot of lint in the filter. Much more lint than previous dryer. I am not so happy with matching washer. Very noisy and not enough water on deep water setting.

User Friendly

Cyril lily 12/9/2025

After 41 years with my old Maytag Washer Dryer I was afraid of the college degree that I probably would need to operate the new models. So far the learning curve is surmountable. In other words, it's pretty user friendly. The only complaint I have is the depth of the tub. My old one was not as deep, just wider, and that made it easier for me to unload the bottom of the washer. Now I have to use a "grabber" to try and get clothes out. I have heard this from other women friends of mine, so it's not just me.

Great product, not so great registration process.

MGDP586KW 11/22/2025

We have had this for 2 weeks (as of 11/22/25). product is great. works as advertised. What I did not care for was the VERY pushy rep who I spoke too upon registering the product. There were several attempts to sell an additional warranty. This person was even insistent the product we bought only had a 1 year warranty. It's advertised as having a 5 year warranty and 10 on the drum and rotor. It seemed evident to me that Maytag (Whirpool) has a contracted with a third party to accept registration contacts and in return, third party gets to push their warranty. I can't believe an actual in-house employee would misconstrue the actual, advertised warranty (5 year) for something else (1 year) just to push the extended warranty.

So far so good!

Linnea of Amherst 8/15/2025

Dyer dries clothing, towels, and bedding perfectly on the low setting. Dryer doesn't need unnecessary Internet access. The buzzer is sufficiently loud when wanted and can easily be turned off when not needed. Dryer has a nice lint screen that catches a lot more lint than my last dryer so far less lint is being blown out onto my driveway. Drum has a light so prevent missed items being left behind. Door has a window to see the action inside. Dryer is quiet enough that window in door is more useful than I realized when I bought it. Dryer seems to be mostly mechanical so hopefully it won't be a nightmare to fix should it ever break. Dryer came with a dent in the lower front panel below the door, but my retailer tracked down the replacement part as quickly as possible and replaced the dented section quickly.

We bought the dryer 3 weeks ago, delivery & set up was a week later. We're still adjusting to the new features & since it's a basic dryer, it does what it's supposed to do. We aren't real pleased with the dryer filter & the lint that adheres to the felt edges.

Drys clothes extremely fast, this is so much more efficient than our old electric dryer. Controls are simple functional without features that never get used. It has a massive drum which allows for large loads to tumble freely. Only complaint is the door opens to the side and down the front.

Dryer installed last week and it was already making a scratching sound indicating there is a problem. Appliance tech from store I bought it from confirmed some internal parts are failing and needs to be replaced. While disappointed dryer is already having an issue I'm pleased that we bought this dryer from an actual appliance store with their own service team that was able to respond and inspect problem the following day I reported issue and it's warranty.

Disappointing

Teamac 12/30/2024

Bought this Dec 4th. Received two weeks later. Contactor hooked up machine on Friday. I did 4 loads (backed up on laundry due to being without a machine for 3 weeks. Machine worked perfectly for the first 4 loads. On the 5th load this very expensive machine became a glorified $1000 paperweight. Getting service is a joke, as they schedule repair with a company that is booked up, and has been booked up for over a week. I really wanted this machine to work, I wanted it to be everything their reputation said it would be. The reputation is why I I spent double the amount than going to a big box store. I forsee a nightmare with this machine. Hopefully I am wrong., time will tell. Right now this is the biggest disappointment in a major purchase.

MZAl 12/5/2024

I bought this two months ago, it was backordered so I had to wait 3 weeks for it to arrive. I absolutely love this dryer! It is amazing! My clothes have come out perfectly dry, not damp at all. I do recommend using the medium heat setting. I dried the first load on high heat and they came out super hot. So to avoid the risk of shrinking I lowered the heat to medium and they still come put completely dry. LOVE this machine! I do not use the noise signal though bc it scares my dogs. It's an old fashioned buzzer sound and it freaks them out :)

Maytag is not the old Maytag

Pegs dryer 10/15/2024

I should have done more research. I had a 28 year old Maytag that was perfect. I understand the new Maytags are actually Whirlpools. I decided on the commercial Maytag because all the others had the lint trap on top of machine. This is a commercial model. The sensor cycle is inefficient, some items are dry and others are still wet after running for an hour. Timed dry takes guessing length and temperature on each load. I guess I™€™ll have to live with it as it was$$$$$

Replaced 30+ year old top of the line Maytag dryer. Have only had it for one month, but so far so good. Does an excellent job of automatic drying. Appreciate the on/off switch for buzzer. Front of machine is slightly shorter than its accompanying side-by-side washer, which is noticeable...something for the manufacturer to think about correcting going forward.

I bought this a month ago and used it once and then it no longer worked. I was choosing between this commercial model and commercial model and the commercial model and Speed Queen (which I own and love at another residence). I am so disappointed that the dryer no longer worked after one use and the service technician diagnosed a bad motor. I am concerned that the replacement motor will not last or work well.
